We take great joy and care in customizing pieces. Close collaboration is the most exciting and essential part of this process. It may be taking memorabilia from a loved one, souvenirs from a beautiful vacation, a personal touch to your interior design, the possibilities are almost endless!
Below we share some of our favorite custom pieces and their creation stories.
Bedside Tables for a Mechanic:
These two tables were made to a specific size and height for his small space. The color of resin background, tools and steel base and color were all choices made by our client. Wyatt wanted to give him a shelf on the bottom that was cable friendly but also kept items from sliding off yet keeping the tables light and airy in apearance.
Memorabilia of a Loved One: #1
This piece was very personal for our client. They had several random objects from their late mother’s and objects of their own. The mother passed when they were an infant, so there was no reference to why these pieces were saved, but they wanted to protect the pieces and also enjoy them on a daily basis. The table also needed to fit in a tiny space next to their bed. What an honor to make something so personal and something that can be passed down through the family.
Memorabilia of a Loved One: #2
Another very personal piece for a client. This framed resin piece was from our clients best friend and mother of his daughter. She had lived and worked on the Caribbean island of Utica and she brought this piece of art back with her. Over the years, the piece was deteriorating and needed to be stabilized but also transformed into a table to be enjoyed daily. Our client asked us to make this framed piece into a side table for his daughter for her birthday in memory of her mother.
Desk Extension for a Gamer:
Gaming takes a lot of surface space. This client needed a corner piece to fit two desks together at the perfect height so he could have a completely connected system to spread out. Being a Marvel Comic fan set the theme.
Custom Clocks:
These clocks began as one custom clock for a client who wanted a beautiful clock for her bathroom. She didn’t want to look at her phone first thing in the morning so this was her brilliant solution. Then, as her friends saw this piece, they also wanted one! Here is her clock and the second is her gift to a friend who admired it. More friends to benefit of this gift in the future!
These coins from a clients world travels made for a fantastic clock to be enjoyed daily instead of sitting in a box!
